Selling off figurines

Well, I need the money, and I'm not getting much luck looking for a job. So I guess it's time to sell off some figurines. List of figurines:

Just name your prices, guys. They're all pretty much in "very good" or "like new" condition. I've put most of them away, right back into their respective boxes. I'm not selling my Aya though, since it was given to me from a friend of mine that's like ... halfway around the world. I would never sell my Aya.

Anyways, thanks again.

This month is just dreadful. Absolutely dreadful.

Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, it just did. I was recently fired from work because I couldn't clean up my department in time. Long story short, they expected me to do something that only MULTIPLE PEOPLE could have done at once. One person cannot do 3 people's jobs, ya know . .

So now I'm in a tight situation where I can't do jack-shit, and I'm trying to apply for jobs. It's been half a week, and I've received no calls or e-mails. Luckily, my financial stuff is all sorted out in regards to school. But I'm still worried because if I don't have enough money, I'll have trouble paying for gas to get to school. This sucks so bad right now. . . .

I don't want to apply for unemployment because it'll make the economy worse, and not only that, but I'd like to actually apply myself and 'work'. I really want to work this semester while attending school, really. If you think this is bad, well, it gets worse, btw.

I recently applied to get into "Five Orb Break 2", which is a Touhou Hisoutensoku tourney. I was lagging so bad that half-way through the tourney, I said "fuck it" and sorta stopped trying because I couldn't do shit. I'm at last place in the tourney, and I feel as if my playing skills have also gone downhill drastically. Everything's going downhill a lot for me this month, eh....

Here's the tourney results, in case anyone is interested. My name on there is Mimoto. Double-click for fullscreen:

I still need a job too, so I pay off my credit card, gas, car insurance, and student loans. This really sucks, I'm in a tight financial situation, and all I can do is wait-and-see. It pisses me off. Gah. Oh well... I hope things gets better for myself, but I've been applying at jobs left and right. I guess I'm just stressed out right now. Oh well, putting Hisoutensoku aside until I get shit sorted out. I don't feel like playing it anymore anyways.

Multiple entries: A simple rant + Kara no Shoujo + financial problems

This is how I feel when people on the internet assumes they're an "otaku" without realizing the meaning of the word "otaku":

Pretty much an "OHHH GODDDDD" reaction. Holy fucking horse-shit. No, you're not an otaku if you watch anime. Do you even know what that term means? My fucking god. I don't want to get into the origin of the word, but in modern day Japan, it's when you're referring to someone that is specialized in a certain hobby. Whether it's video games, music, books, anime, etc. Note the word specialized, meaning that they've had a lot of experience(s) in regards to their hobbies. They may even be extremely obsessive-compulsive when seeing things they want to obtain. That, my friend, is an otaku in modern day.

But here's what I dislike.. when people use that term wrong! I'm going to list this specifically under the typical 'anime' otaku stereotype. You are using the term otaku wrong IF:

-You watch only several anime series.
-You are most likely not obsessive-compulsive
-You most likely don't spend a copious amount of your financial gains towards anime, manga, or figurines.
-You can't even name at LEAST 5 anime from this current season from the top of your damn head. Yes, I am fucking serious.
-You are a completely outdated nitwit.
-You do not understand the following terminologies: moe, -dere, harem, etc (typical otaku words, mirite??!)
-You think that watching anime immediately makes you an otaku -> No. You're doing it wrong!!!! Watching anime doesn't make you an otaku. I want to stab people in the eyes when they claim they're an otaku. You're doing it wrong.

Americanized otaku culture is okay. I have no problem with it as long as they truthfully are one. If they're not, and they assume they are, that's when I get anal about the terminology. Anyways, too much rage in this portion, going to switch topics now. Also, here's a comic for da lulz.

<insert more derp here>

Alrighty then, moving on. I started picking up an eroge known as Kara no Shoujo. Unlike your typical eroge, where the protagonist is a complete dumbass, this protagonist actually has brains. I'm going to quickly copy-pasta the description from TLWiki:

March, 1956. Tokyo; a metropolis finally starting to recover ten long years after Japan's defeat in the War. Private eye Tokisaka Reiji accepts a strange request from a girl in Inokashira Park.

"I want you to look for something. Me. My true self."
Meanwhile, a series of bizarre murders is plaguing the area, one where young women are disappearing, only to turn up dead and maimed with their wombs torn out. Seeking assistance on the case, Detective Uozumi Kyoko called up his old friend and former coworker, Reiji.
Ouba Girls Academy; a school on the outskirts of Hoya City. Reiji's little sister attends this school, where two young women have mysteriously vanished. Saeki Tokio, the vice principal, calls in Reiji to investigate their disappearance, giving him his third case.
Reiji infiltrates the academy as a substitute teacher to glean information from the students—but that's when he meets her once again.
Kuchiki Toko—his first client, the girl who asked him to search for her true self. Her manner is distinctly boyish as she remarks:
"Heya - so we meet again, Mr. Detective."
The body count continues to rise. What should be a simple search for some students is starting to grow out of control. For some reason, the number of missing people and unidentified bodies don't match up.
Who will be chosen as the next victim?
As the endless cycle of tragedy continues, what mysteries lie behind these new cases? Behind a similar series of murders from six years ago?
Innocent Grey presents an original, psychologically thrilling mystery for your pleasure. Here, your investigative work and deductions directly influence the course of the story. Will you be able to use the clues contained in your notebook to piece together the truth in this pulse-pounding mystery thriller? With a cast of more than thirty characters, there's no shortage of complicated relationships, drama, and riddles. You may let out a scream. You may be this close to letting the killer get away. But what every you do, don't let this amazing work slip under your radar!
Perhaps one girl's smile might await beneath the shell of tragedy...

Doesn't that sound interesting? No? Yes? Well, it did to me. ; _; Look at the pictures! LOOK AT HER, DAMN IT!

Anyways, I'll let you guys know more about this if I ever stop being so lazy. I'm reading it at a supah slow pace, but it seems okay so far. Definitely not a nukige though, but the anime said otherwise. Though of course, anime adaptations of eroge never goes well (for the most part).

Now we're off to my.. financial problems..
Here's how it all started.. last Summer, I went on a crazy-ass spending spree to buy a ton of figurines and stuff. Along with now, I have a new awesome laptop. The expense? Around.. high 4k-ish on one of my credit cards. Fuck my life. This is all my fault, and of course, I am not blaming anybody or anything else but myself. I
am slowly trying to find a way to pay it off.. Slowly... I'm making anywhere from 500-600 dollars per month at the moment. I'm already paying $80/month due to one of my school loans at the moment. I have to pay my one credit card another $200 dollars the upcoming month (and I should be done with THAT card). I'm also paying for my gasoline for my car, as well as car insurance. That's like 1.2k a year, okay? But I won't pay that off until April 2012. Right now, however much I make goes straight to my credit card(s) because I want to repay all of that shit back asap so I won't have bad credit.

I'm also going to school for the Fall semester, but my university is about 20-30 minutes away. I think I'm also going 4 days a week as well, so that's a lot of mileage there. I'm going to take a quick guess and assume that I'll be dishing in 40 USD for every week & a half UP TO 2 weeks of driving. So that's like $80 dollars / month for gas. I'm also saving up to pay off my car insurance, so that's like 100 USD / month.

80 (gas) + 100 (insurance) + 80 (loan) = 260. Whatever that is left if my income pretty much goes directly into my credit cards. Sucks, but whatever. I'm going to start writing down how much I spend a week and everything.. So I can keep track of how much money I'm losing and gaining over time. That way, I can be more cost-efficient and pay off my credit card. -sigh-

Now please excuse me while I go into ZUN-mode and drown myself in beer . . . . . .

"Koko ni Iru Yo!" (I am here!)

Hikage is so moe.. moe.. moe.. moooooeeeeeee~~~~ HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG! I recently bought volume 2 of "I am here!" (English translation of "Koko ni Iru Yo!") at Borders the other day. Must say that while it was a tad expensive, it was worth it. In case you're wondering, I spent near 14 dollars or so, I believe. But it was a rather large manga volume, imo. A year or two ago, I started reading "Watashi ni  XX Shinasai!", then loved that shoujo series so much that I decided to pick up one of Tōyama Ema's earlier works, which ended up being this. It was pretty short, but it was very heart-warming to read such a cute story. Instead of trying to sum up what it's about, I'd figure I'll just upload some images. Here's the back of the first volume:

See? Doesn't that sound cute?!? I mean, look at that! That's fucking inspiring! Anyways, here are more images:

As soon as I heard that "Koko ni Iru Yo!" was going to have an English release, I quickly thought: SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!!! , because I really love the series. Anyways, I won't bore you guys anymore, but here's a super moe picture of Hikage. HNNNNNG!  -clenches heart-

PS: Hikage is inspired by the eroge "Sharin no Kuni" as well as "Saya no Uta", which is why you can resemblances from Saya as well as Natsumi. DAT HAIR@@@@

My first anime (18+) convention?

Remilia's face = How I felt
Sakuya's face = typical con go-er

Well, I guess I can sort of see why conventions are fun. Maybe it's because I went to a relatively small one in the Pittsburgh area that kind made it 'eh' for me. It was fun in the sense that I could meet people with the same interests and stuff. Problem here was that I think I'm too tainted by the internet. I mostly blame /jp/ for my social awkwardness, along with my inability to accept that a lot of people can be supah weeaboos.

Some people were pretty cool though ; met a guy that sets up the Touhou arcade machine at Tekkoshocon, or so he said. That was interesting. Besides that, no one really knew what Touhou was, so I felt like I was at the wrong place or something. But it was a small and 18+ convention, with retro video gaming and old school stuff, so I guess I'll give them a break.

On Friday night, as soon as I got to the hotel / inn, I rushed in around 6 PM, thinking that I might be late. I started seeing a big line for registration, so I knew I was at the right area. Long story short, I was the only Asian at the con. Feels bad, man. Anyways, after like 10 mins of being in line, I finally got my name badge, schedule, and a little booklet about the events, etc.

Friday night, didn't really do much. Just sorta wandered around because I didn't know who to talk to, or how to fit in. As soon as I came into the gaming room, this one guy asked:

"Are you the Touhou person?"

He asked that since I was requesting to have a Touhou Hisoutensoku gaming corner in the room on the lolFB group page. Here's the problem, I only had one controller with my setup ( yay for a broke-as-shit otaku ! ! ! ! ! /o/ ) I guess I had to explain what Touhou was to some people, I was extremely disappointed, but I'm glad they were open minded about it.. I was carrying my Reimu plush that I bought on AmiAmi (several months ago) in my arm as I walked around, and I guess some people recognized the character, at least.

On Saturday, I arrived at the con around 10 AM or so. I met more people here and there. There was this really cute chick that was cosplaying as Taokaka. I'm glad I didn't pay close attention to how she actually looks, or it would always ruin the character for me. I'm picky. Anyways, I just ran up to her and gave her a hug and told her how adorable I thought her outfit was. I saw some other BlazBlue girls up there too, pretty cute stuff. Even if they weren't 100% precise or had the body for it, I thought the costumes were pretty good.

Then the convention had an event where Matt K. Miller, the English voice actor for "Tenchi" in Tenchi Muyo was doing Q&A. He was a pretty cool guy, wasn't annoying like I was assuming. Pretty down to Earth kinda guy, though this still doesn't change the fact that I detest dubs with a raging passion of the north star. Then me and my one friend went around and wore out Pedobear hats for a while, and we had fun here and there.

I also met some other IRL friends at the con, so that was cool too. Ok, summing this up now..

I can see why people attends cons, they're a great place to meet weeaboos otaku. I dislike dealers, a lot. From what I've read on /jp/, doing lolGoogling, along with reading other blogs, just seems like a rip-off. I'd rather buy authentic / official figurines directly from the manufacturers themselves, or at least credible websites that sells them. I saw a Kotobukiya Magician Girl figure for like 75 dollars, and it seems like the same amount of price (maybe a tad more expensive? Idk) that AmiAmi had a while back, but in JPY.

I didn't buy anything in the dealers room at all, eh. Waste of my time and money. I guess my view may be biased since I went to a smaller convention, but it was okay. The people (very little of them) made it fun for me, while for others, probably annoyed the shit out of me.

There's a guy that was cosplaying as Zack Fair from FF7, he was pretty cool and shit. Invited me to drink sake with him, and he was pretty nice. There was that one other Touhou guy too, he was pretty chill too. He told me he lurked /jp/ when the topic of /jp/ came up. That was pretty awkward. But cool, I guess.

Overall, I'd give it a 6/10. Only because once again, I was pretty displeased in some areas. There were some really annoying chicks too, they kept touching my Reimu when I was standing next to them in the elevator. Ugh. I hate that. So much.

ITT: That feel when you're too srsbsns otaku for most people. Yeeeeah. THAT FEEL.

Doujin Music of the Week #2: W-w-why Doujin music?!?!

Decided on explaining what doujin music is all about, and why I have an extremely unhealthy obsession with it. Months ago, some of my friends, along with myself, decided to compare our doujin music collection. Apparently, I had the largest amount in comparison to my friends. Some of my friends only saved several albums or even tracks that they love, me on the other hand, pretty much anything I can get my grubby hands on, since I like to explore around with the doujin circles.

Now, you might be a bit confused and you're asking me what the hell "doujin" even means, mirite?

Doujin music is fan-made music that is based off of original and official music. I'll give several examples below:

"Dark Road" (original)

Doujin versions by several circles:

As you can see, same 'theme', but there are differences in comparison to the original. I really like doujin music because you're using something 100% official and original, and then you're turning it into something else. You're basically expressing the song into your own way, using your own emotions, thoughts, and soul put into it. I get bored with regular stuff nowadays, so I often listen to doujin music. Well, I'm sure not everyone are big fans of doujin music, but for me, it expresses creativity. I've even seen original songs being arranged and re-done in a metal or rock genre. It's just fascinating to see how creative the fans are. This is why I also love the Touhou fandom, because people are fucking nuts and they'll go very far out (in Japan only, Americans don't count, k?) just to do fanwork.

If you think Vic is an anime seiyuu god, you must have shit tastes.

Only in AMURIKA will you ever see raging fangirls swarming all over Vic..

McNugget
Mangina
Mignoggin
etc

I still don't see why all of these fangirls thinks he's like the best thing ever that's happened to anime. I think the fangirls ruins the experience for me when it comes to English dubbed anime. It's not because of their wild obsession as it is their SHIT-TIER TASTES IN DUBBING. Yeah, that's right. They wouldn't even be able to differentiate between a good seiyuu and a bad one. Vic has only voiced some protagonists, most notably known for his homosexual and pedophile voice-acting, Vic has swayed many innocent girls' hearts. Sadly, as a real otaku, I must say that those girls have no tastes in voice-acting, and it makes me sad.

First off, guy's a Christian. Ok, religion, I'm fine with that. But if he's SUPAH HARDCUUURELOLOLOLOL@@@@, then I don't want to see his faggy face at any convention. Go away. I've heard of con-horror stories all over, don't even get me started there. If I saw this guy in real life, I should push him and shit all over his face.

Anyways, his voice is really notable because it sounds the SAME regardless of which character he's voicing. I would know because I had ...dreadfully.. sat through and watch every single fucking episode of Fullmetal Alchemist ..in English dub. My ears have never bled so much in my life. I thought the horror was over, until one fateful day when I went to a local GameStop and bought my copy of "Ys III: The Oath in Felghana" for the PSP. I started playing it, and I remembered playing as the protagonist, I walked up to a priest in a church, and I swore.. it was Vic's voice. I was like "Wait a fucking minute.." and talked to the NPC again, it WAS Vic's voice. I almost threw my PSP against the wall. Get this shit-tier voice actor off of my games and animu please.

Comparing Japanese seiyuu to Vic, though, note that Japanese seiyuu are a lot more influentual because they voice over 60% of all animated series in the world. Plus, did you know that Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric (from FMA) were voiced by females? Alphonse was voiced by ... yes, Kugimiya Rie while Ed was voiced by  Paku Romi (also known as Romi Park). Yeah, female voice actresses plays a more influentual role than most male voice actors, in my honest opinion. I can't even think of a voice 'actor' on the top of my head, since a lot of females can voice male characters rather well.

Rie herself has voiced many characters from anime series as well as several from popular video games, such as Rise Kujikawa from Persona 4, etc. Though I guess I'm not that much of a Rie fan as of late, though I do know a lot of fanboys that are into her. I'm more into HorieYui (or Yui Horie) , since her voice acting is rather distinctive, though they don't sound THE SAME for every damn character.

Even Hirano Aya (or Aya Hirano) has gained success just for voice-acting the role of the character Haruhi. You all know how fucking popular Haruhi is in Japan, I fucking hope. I don't even like that show, and I know all about it because of how large the fandom is. In Japan, there's multiple voice seiyuus that are popular, and people actually argue about which is often the best. Where as in AMURIKA, every single fucking fangirl wants to rub their body all over Vic's cock. It makes me angry because the guy sounds the same for every role he's voiced, and he's an arrogant airhead. Honestly, whenever I see fangirls, I instantly get angry because they all have shit-tier tastes for liking Vic. The fandom in America makes no sense at all to me.

Otaku Eats [2]

I really do love cooking, especially if it's in my spare time. I would hate to have to do it for other people though, because there's expectations. Though I guess I wouldn't mind too much once in a while.. Anyways, last night, after work, I decided to head to the grocery section to pick up some backribs since they were cheap. I forgot how many lbs it was, but the price came up to $9.95, I figured that was good enough. Too expensive = do not want.

Anyways, here's a picture of the ribs and the marinade sauce as well as the recipe:

-Ribs (chopped to each individual pieces)
-BBQ sauce
-Honey
-Tobasco sauce
-Spiracha hot sauce
-Chili powder
-A1 steak sauce (very little of it)
-Pepper
-Honey bourbon (any brand)

Might kill your tongue a bit though, cause it'll be spicy. I don't like using precise measurements or anything though, whatever looks good to my eyes. I've been cooking since I was near 13 years old, since I was always home by myself until 8 or 9 PM almost every night, cause my parents never get home from work until late at night. Because of that, I had to learn how to do things by myself. That's how I learned how to cook over time.

Anyways, oh right, the pic!

So yeah, you want to marinade it, then keep it in the fridge over night. Next day, you can start putting it in the oven at around 350 degrees for about an hour up to an hour and a half. Keep turning it once in a while so that it's cooked all around.

Besides that, uhhh.. yeah.

Happy eating, otaku!

Shit-post about VNs/eroge [Sharin no Kuni fan-disc, music in eroge, etc etc etc]

You know you're reading a great eroge when there's an emotionally compelling ending that brought you to tears. I'm here to discuss about great music in eroge / VNs. INB4herewerego. So yeah, I'm sure you guys know I'm a huge AkabeiSoft2 fag, rite? I love their VNs, because they actually try to put in quality, even if there's some inconsistencies (oh come on, let's get real here, VNs not being inconsistent? hahaohwow.jpg).

I told you guys I've read Sharin no Kuni, but did I mention that I finished the fan-disc of that as well? I finish Houzuki's arc, and found out about why he was such a fucking cunt in the original Sharin. I guess the fan-disc elaborated on his past, as well as a slight continuation of what -cough cough- "Masaomi" (hint hint) did after he let Kenichi go. As I was reading the fan-disc, I realized how different Masaomi (gonna refer to him as Masaomi at this point) was in comparison to Ken, but they also had similarities. Masaomi was a lot more strict and way less rule-breaking than Kenichi, and it was a really depressing read to find out why he really betrayed Ken's "dad", per-se.

The fan-disc revealed more about the original story and even resolved a lot of things that I was confused about in Sharin. Anyways, enough about that..

I started listening to 彩音 (Ayane) a lot as of recent too, she sung the song "Close Your Eyes" in G-Senjou no Maou. Which, by the way, was a pretty tear-jerking read as well. I really like it when the song's mood really affects the flow of the story, and it really brings out the emotion from the reader. Here's the song:

Yes, that was directly from the G-Senjou ending, without the dialogue. Not like you'd understand what's going on anyways, unless you read it. But the music really plays a significant role in what I'm reading. If the mood and flow of the music doesn't match the current situation in the story, I don't feel as if I'm really enjoying my read. Which is why when I like or dislike a VN, it's usually because of the music, story progression, character development, etc.

Anyways, enough AkabeiSoft2 dick-sucking. I guess I just wanted to state my current thoughts on what I'm listening and reading at this point, eh.

PS:

Might or might not spoil anything, but notice the quote at the end.

My face when..

. . . . I found out I'd be moving to California once I graduate college:

So I'm really shocked. Still am. Yesterday, while my parents were discussing about my plans for my upcoming years in college, I told them I still have a rather large chunk of classes to finish before I'm done. My mom quickly interrupted and told me that once I do finish up college, she plans on moving over to California since it's terribly cold here in Pennsylvania in the Winter. Okay, that's understandable. That and the fact that there's a large Asian community in CA, etc. The thing is that I have friends I really love here in PA, and it'd be awkward starting from scratch again. I don't know if I just have the fear of trying to make new friends, but I don't think it'll be super easy. I do have a couple online friends that lives in CA, maybe they'll show me around or something, I guess.

( But yes, I still have about 1.5 years left of classes. This is under the assumption that I take 15 credits every time. = / )

I really have no idea how to react to all of this, I always thought my mom was teasing me about moving, but it seems she's serious. I guess they're getting older anyways.. I really have no idea how to react at this point because the atmosphere between these two states are massive. I'm so heavily white-washed that it might make things a bit interesting whenever I talk to other Asians, I guess.

Hopefully, I'll meet some cool otaku people over there or something if I decide to go. I really do want independence and to be free from my parents, though I also care for them because I realize they're getting old. By the time they'd leave for CA, my brother would be near the age of 15. Maybe 16, if they hold it back for another year. I certainly don't expect him to work or anything, but he'll probably end up having to do so.

Finding an IT job in CA does not seem easy either. From what I'm understanding, Asians there are extremely serious over-achievers, and because of the higher population, I would most likely compete for a job. That. Sucks.

I guess I'll have to see how this all turns out, right now, I'm kinda 50 / 50 with the entire situation. I like my friends here and everything, but what if there's more things for me out there too? But if I go along with my parents, that also might be bad because I don't get along with them. Though I also want to repay them back for the times they've raised me. Eh. So many things to think about at this point. What if.. w-w-what if I become extremely shy during my first encounter with people ? !

Being single & otaku

Unrelated image, I just thought it was funny.  Anyways, my thoughts on being a single otaku and '2D' love, I guess. I didn't know how to come up with a title for this blog, honestly. Similar to "Kirari Star" (user), I have a similar view about 2D love, though not to such a powerful extent as her's. I honestly think most women in real life are pretty annoying, too much make up, too much bitchyness, and not calm enough. I haven't really found a girl that I've liked since forever, actually. Since I turned into an otaku last Summer or so, most girls really looks the same in my eyes. They're all boring and bitchy. I was having a conversation with an online friend a couple nights ago when I was intoxicated (and so was he..), and we were discussing about how he thought most girls are bitchy. I was shocked, and had to agree. If most girls weren't such bitches and trying to be princesses while having "equality" (see the irony and hypocrisy here?) with men, then some would actually get nice guys instead of bumbling jackasses.

But no, instead, they all try to be a princess and have a "prince charming" trying to save their ass, paying for everything they want, and while at the same time, expect the males to treat them as if they're males. How does that even work? How can you be treated both ways like that? Now, mind you, not all females are like this, and I'm fully capable of comprehending that. Though the majority that I've seen in real life are rather sickening, and I'd hate to even look at them.

Honestly, I don't regret being single, looking back. Another topic I wanted to get back on track to would be "2D Love". What is it exactly? Normalfags are always using the same argument:

"You love something that does not exist."

Well, I can say with utmost certainty that a lot of girls have unrealistic fantasies about loving Vic Bologna er.. Mignogna, so if you take in consideration of that, you can see that this is a fair comparison. People can 'love' celebrities in that way too, right? In a way, it's the same way for how I feel towards some 2D artwork of females. It's usually how they're depicted. 2D girls aren't really physical as it is spiritual, and you love the concept and idea of the characters.

Ever have those moments when you look up to a character from a novel or movie? Same here. I look up to certain 2D characters. Honestly, I can't think of a more recent time in this previous year in which I felt overly depressive or upset. I'm usually very happy nowadays because I always have something to entertain myself, or to think about. I'm always occupied on the internet. Where as most normalfags are worried about a girl that would easily trash them as soon as they're done using that person. I will never to have to worry about that.

I don't really understand this concept called "finding the right person". Sure, I admit that my 'normal' side gets out once in a while and I start thinking about that, but honestly, I'm too happy being the way I am to even think about reverting. It's sad how most people just disgusts me, and I get aggravated nowadays, but all in all,  honestly, I'm rather comfortable with who I am.

I guess people could call me insane for thinking like this, but most girls honestly do annoy me. There are some that doesn't because they're pure and actually aren't slutty, but believe it or not, a lot of girls are pretty slutty. I'll end this blog entry now, take it easy, /jp/ers and other misc visitors. And always remember..

"What a slut."

Doujin Music of the Week #1: Border of Life

You guys all know how much of a Touhou-fag I am, right? I really love listening to doujin music too, but I also have my specific tastes in regards to which I like. This week, I'm just going to inform you on why I enjoy some of the "Border of Life" (Yuyuko's theme) arrangements I've been hearing as of late. I wanted to do this mostly because I enjoy listening to music, and I love my Touhou.

First, I'm going to show the very original "Border of Life":

Now we start to compare.

"儚く散り逝く夜桜" - TatshMusicCircle [Album: FAR EAST OF EAST IV]

Listen to that as you're reading this, might make sense to you a bit. Yuyuko's theme, "Border of Life" flows very soft at first, but starts to become really upbeat and fast after several seconds in. But in a way, how the rhythm flows still makes the song rather soothing to listen to, even if the tempo changes over time. Personally, "Border of Life" is one of my favorite songs in the Touhou Project series. TatshMusicCircle's "儚く散り逝く夜桜" not only retained that upbeat tempo, but even heightened it. They also added vocals to it, which by the way, I thought Kanako Hoshino did a fantastic job on. You can really hear the lyrics behind this, and the lyrics even conveyed emotions to the person that's listening to it (to me, it felt very uplifting). Where as most of the songs I've heard from other circles, it just sounds like they're reading words right off a chalkboard.

You can really hear the beat with this particular arrangement, and how the vocals really synchronizes with the beat of the song really makes it a worthy tune to listen to. However, TatshMusicCircle also twisted this song into a different direction by adding in their own mix to it. Not sure if you guys can tell, but it sounds like the original the majority of the time, but not constantly. This made it really unique in my book, and I could obviously hear the original "Border of Life" out of this. This is by far, my favorite arrangement of "Border of Life".

10/10

"幽雅に咲かせ、墨染の桜 ~Border of Life" - TAMUSIC [Album: 東方子守唄]

Did I mention I love instrumentals? TAMUSIC is another one of my favorite artists, and I loved this arrangement as well. It's just very calm and relaxing, I could actually go outside and just stare at the night sky while listening to this all night. Starts out rather slow, like small droplets of rain falling from the sky at a really slow and even pace. You can really feel the emotion from this arrangement, it just seemed really sad to me. Hell, if I ever were to be able to pick a song for my funeral, it would be something similar to this, if not, this! It just seems very peaceful and relaxing, and you feel as if there's some sort of heightened spiritual transcendence while listening to this. I can't even describe this one at all, I just enjoy listening to it because it really calms me down and lets me think logically. I really like a lot of Tam's songs because of that, the majority of them feel very calm, relaxing, peaceful, and you can almost feel Tam's emotions as he's playing on the piano while listening to this.

9/10

Well, that's all for today, see you guys next time!

Also remember to take it easy~

Leave me alone.

I guess I've been kinda annoyed at people in general as of late. Could be a plethora of reasons, but I'm rather intoxicated as I'm typing this, so if there are inconsistencies or if my entry seems rather incoherent, I must apologize.

Anyways, you guys all clearly know that I'm a hikikomori, though entirely different from being a recluse, mind you. I just don't feel the need for social interactions at times. I hate it when people assumes I'm not talking to them because I hate them or whatever. It's not even that. Sometimes, I just have tendencies to space out or be so absorbed in my activities that I pay no heed to my surroundings. While I should probably feel bad, I don't, really. I can't change myself at this point, and I like myself this way. I have that solitude that I can retract into when I feel annoyed by people, and it's very easy for me to do so. Though people assumes that I must hate them if I'm just not responding, which is not the case at all.

In fact, when I'm not at home, I'm usually at a cafe in my town, but I'm always on my laptop. I'm usually checking my Twitter to see feeds from other otaku, or to play MineCraft. So I'm very absorbed in my activities. In fact, I bet you 75% of the time, I am often listening to loud music via headphones, so I can't even hear anything. I am in my own little world.

I love that world of mine though, I'm always comfortable there, and it's peaceful. Peaceful enough that I can be away from everybody else and just focus on myself, to do things that I want to do. Why can't normal people understand that? I don't see it as something that's so unusual or complex. Then again, I guess my views of people are rather eccentric.

In fact, an online friend of mine told me that he thought I had a low tolerance for idiocy, because I've been having rather irrational temper tantrums as of late. I just look at normalfags and get angry. Or sometimes, certain actions just triggers my anger. I don't even know why. I can't explain it. I've just been rather angry as of recent, but being online and by myself makes me feel at ease. It keeps me satisfied. People will never understand that.

My little sister

Let me tell you about my imouto, and how much I adore her. Several months ago, I went on a website and found my imouto. She looked prettier than I had expected, of course. I quickly sent a message to that website, and after a transaction, decided to part ways with her. Just today, my imouto came to visit me. I was really surprised! Let me tell you all about my little sister, she has orange-ish colored hair, and she's very petite. She's currently wearing a pink beach bikini right now, but I don't want to get into that, because she's my little sister and all ! ! !

Here are the pictures ! !

I slowly pick her up to look her in the eyes, the looked away and said "Oniichan~" at me. I blushed.

That's all for today. <3
